Danielle Priest

Bio

Danielle Priest was named Assistant Volleyball coach in January of 2019 and returns to HCC after spending time playing and coaching at several levels. Danielle started her coaching career as an assistant under coach Larkin in 2013 and later moved on to become an assistant at Saint Leo University from 2017 to 2019. During her time at St. Leo, she helped lead the Lions to 2 straight NCAA post season appearances and had multiple players earn individual post season accolades. In addition to coaching at the collegiate level, Danielle continues to coach and mentor players at the Tampa United Volleyball Academy where she has been a head coach since 2013.

As a player, Danielle led the Hawks to 2 conference championships and 2 NJCAA National Tournament appearances in 2008 and 2009. She earned second team all-conference and finishing seventh in the nation in blocks. She then played middle blocker at Florida Atlantic University and two seasons with the Premier Volleyball League’s, Florida Wave. Danielle received her Associate Degree in Business Administration in 2010, a B.A. in Business Management, and an MBA in Sports Management. When she isn’t in the gym, she runs her own accounting practice, spends time with family, and chases down her pets. Danielle currently resides in Land O Lakes, Florida
